Watch Solar Eclipse 2017 Online In 360 Degree 4K On CNN

Folks in the United States will get to experience the total solar eclipse in just one week. You wouldn’t want to be someone who misses this experience given that the last time this happened was almost a century ago. If you’d rather not travel to someplace that’s in the eclipse path, rest assured, because you will be able to watch the solar eclipse 2017 online and that too in 360 degree and 4K resolution courtesy of CNN.

CNN has confirmed that it’s going to have a live stream up on August 21st to stream the solar eclipse in 4K resolution and in 360 degrees. The live stream will feature footage from multiple locations along the eclipse’s path.

CNN’s proceedings for the day will begin at 1 PM ET on August 21st with a live show called CNN’s Eclipse of the Century with astronaut Mark Kelly. Rachel Crane, CNN’s Space and Science correspondent, will be taking part as well.

The network’s multiple 4K, 360 degree cameras will be placed along the eclipse’s path, from South Carolina to Oregon, enabling viewers who tune into the live stream to experience the eclipse virtually.

The live stream will be available on CNN.com/eclipse as well as the network’s mobile apps. It will also be streamed on CNN’s Facebook page.
