This is the latest mechanical keyboard from SteelSeries and it is a full-sized keyboard, so if you were after something more compact, you will probably have to look elsewhere. The M750 will not be using Cherry MX switches which is the more common type of switches found in mechanical keyboards. Instead it will be using SteelSeries’ own QX2 switches.
The keyboard will sport a aerospace aluminum frame and will feature individual backlit RGB keys, so for those who want a different color for every key, you will be able to do that. It also comes with the SteelSeries Engine which allows users to further customize their keyboard and how it reacts.
One example is how users can program it so that whenever they receive a notification on the Discord chat app, the keyboard will light up a certain way to inform them about it. If you hate notification sounds, then this will be an alternative. Unfortunately the Apex M750 does not come cheap at $140, but if you think it is worth it, then head on over to SteelSeries’ website for the details and to place your order.
