Sony’s smartphones don’t really get picked up by carriers these days but those who still want to buy one can purchase an unlocked and off-contract unit from online retailers like Amazon. The flagship Sony Xperia XZ Premium was launched a couple of months back, in June to be precise, and its price has now been slashed by $100 for customers in the United States.
This is obviously going to be enticing for those who have been meaning to pick up the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. They will now spend $100 less than they would have otherwise on the handset.
When the Xperia XZ Premium was launched earlier this year in June, it came with a $799 price tag. That might have been too high a price to ask, some customers are likely to have believed, so they might be happy to hear that the Xperia XZ Premium price has now been cut.
Major online retailers that are selling this smartphone unlocked and off-contract include Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H. All of them are selling the smartphone for $699.99 now.
It’s unclear at this point in time if this price cut will be in effect for a limited time or if this is a permanent cut. Nevertheless, those who have been really looking forward to buying one have more of an incentive to open up their wallets now than ever before.
