#IFA2017 – Samsung has launched a couple of new products today at its IFA 2017 press event. The new products include the Gear Sport smartwatch and the Gear Fit2 Pro fitness tracker. Samsung has also launched a new pair of wireless earbuds. The new version of its Gear IconX activity tracking earbuds come with a refined design that promises a more comfortable experience.
The original Gear IconX was launched by Samsung last year. The wireless earbuds enable users to store music offline so that they can continue to listen even when they’re offline. It’s capable of automatically tracking activities like running and syncing that data with Samsung S Health.
Samsung says that the updated design of the Gear IconX makes it more ergonomic and comfortable to wear. It’s lightweight yet secure enough to keep up with the user even during intense workouts.
The Gear IconX can also be used to launch Bixby now. However, this functionality will only work when the earbuds are paired with a compatible smartphone like the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8.
The new Gear IconX earbuds will soon be available for purchase in black, gray, and pink colors. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the pricing and availability details at this point in time.
