So we know that Samsung will be officially announcing their next flagship smartphone pretty soon in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. However the question is with the phone being announced later this month, when will it be released? The good news is that according to a report from ET News, we might have an idea.

The report from ET News cites a leaked roadmap for the launch of the Note 8 handset. Assuming the leak is correct, the phone will be officially announced on the 23rd of August (which we already knew). The following week Samsung is expected to hold events to let users experience the Note 8 before its release, and the pre-order period will kick off from the 1st of September until the 10th of September, with the official release set for the 15th of September.

However we should point out that since the leak came from Korea, there’s a good chance that certain dates could be exclusive to Korea, such as its pre-order dates and its release. After all we have seen how Samsung has in the past given priority to its home market, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they were to do it again.

Then again we have also seen Samsung do a simultaneous release in the major markets they operate in, so there is a chance that these dates could be what they say they are. Either way take it with a grain of salt, but we should be finding out for ourselves very well.
