The handset was announced with pricing in Euros, which we guess made it pretty obvious that it would be arriving in Europe at least, but what about the US? The good news for fans in the US is that the handset could see a launch stateside, according to a report from NokiaPowerUser, although their reports claims that it won’t be the same phone.
According to their sources, it seems that HMD does have plans to bring the Nokia 8 to markets like the US and China, but it will not sport the same specs as the version that was announced. However it is also not expected to differ too greatly as it seems that the US and China variants might just come with different RAM and storage configurations, but other than that hopefully the Zeiss camera and OZO audio features will remain intact.
Take it with a grain of salt for now as HMD has yet to officially announce anything, but check back with us at a later date where hopefully there will be more details to share.
