The slides were posted in Chinese but a translation by Nikon Rumors has confirmed some of the camera’s specs. For starters the camera will feature a 45.7MP sensor which is in line with the earlier rumors that suggested anywhere between 45-46MP. The slides also confirm a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD display that can be tilted.
The D850 also appears to be capable of shooting at 9fps when combined with a battery pack, support 8K timelapse capture, 4K video capture, an ISO range of 64 up to 25,600, a 153-point AF system, and a 180,000 RGB sensor. For those most part this is in line with what we’ve heard, although it seems that an earlier report of a hybrid viewfinder could have been false.
There is still no word on when Nikon is expected to fully unveil the D850, but given the leaked specs and the photos, it does seem to suggest that we could be nearing an official announcement, so check back with us in the near future for more updates.
