In a tweet by Blass, he shares a brand new clear and high resolution render of the upcoming iPhone 8. However it seems that this render isn’t an official Apple render, but it seems like it could instead be a render created by a case manufacturer to advertise their cases, especially since the iPhone is protected by such a case in the image.
However the render does confirm some features that we already know about, like the full screen bezel-less display with a notch at the top, and also the lack of a home button. What’s interesting however is that the front part of the phone has two circular cut outs, one of which is presumably for the front-facing camera, while the other could either be the ambient light sensor, or it could be the 3D laser scanner we’ve been hearing about that will help facilitate facial recognition.
Assuming this render is accurate, things are certainly looking pretty good and this could be the redesign that iPhone users have been asking for, but take it with a grain of salt and hopefully we will have the official details soon.
