iPhone 8 Mass Production Said To Begin In Mid-September

The famous Apple analyst at KGI Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo, claims that Apple is going to start mass production of the iPhone 8 by mid-September. He also suggests that rumors about the iPhone 8 release day are unfounded and that the handset will be released on the very same day as the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. The analyst does mention that iPhone 8 quantities and styles will be limited at launch.

Kuo predicts that Apple is going to announce all three new iPhones next month and that all of the new smartphones are going to be released on the very same day. Reiterating previous predictions, Kuo said that the iPhone 8 is going to be in extremely limited supply at launch.

The analyst also claims that all of the iPhones unveiled this year will have support for fast charging but customers may have to pay extra for a Lighting-to-USB-C cable and wall adapter to take advantage of this feature.

The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are both said to be in mass production already. They’re said to be offered in three colors which will also be the color options that Apple offers with the iPhone 8.

Apple is yet to confirm when it’s going to conduct its fall event for the new iPhones. Since the company tends to do that in September normally, it should start sending out invites to the press by the end of this month.
