The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is going to conduct an event on September 12th in order to unveil the next-generation iPhone. It’s expected to launch three new iPhones at the event – the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s, and iPhone 7s Plus.
Apple itself hasn’t confirmed anything about a September event so far. Whenever it has conducted an event in September, it usually sends out invites to the press about a fortnight before the event itself.
With August drawing to a rapid close, it’s quite likely that we will get to see an official confirmation of the iPhone 7 launch event date from Apple in the very near future.
