Instead it came with 1080p recording at 30fps, which while fine and more than usable, isn’t really what many are expecting in this day and age. However HTC did promise that an update would be released soon that would enable 60fps recording. Last week it seemed like the update began to make its way to Taiwan, and now reports are claiming that it is also making its way to other parts of the world.
According to HTC’s previous announcement, the update is expected to rollout over the course of the next few months, which means that if you don’t see the update for your phone yet, then know that you’ll probably have to wait, but don’t worry as it should eventually arrive on your handset, although we can’t really promise you when.
Like we said in our earlier post, HTC’s decision to launch it with 30fps recording was a bit strange, but we guess this update should solve any issues you have with it. Better late than never, right?
