However this is a problem that HTC is looking to rectify as you might have heard the company recently announced an update that would fix it. There was no specific release date except to say that it will be released over the course of the next few months, but hopefully HTC U11 won’t have to wait too long because according to reports, the HTC U11 handsets in Taiwan are already receiving the update.
We’re not sure which region HTC is expected to move onto next, but the rollout in Taiwan does signal that the update is on its way, so hopefully it will take weeks and not months. That being said, 30fps is a perfectly fine frame rate to be recording at, but like we said with many smartphones already offering a buttery smooth 60fps, it does seem odd that HTC missed it, but we guess better late than never, right?
