Google Slashes Prices Of Pixel Phones Ahead Of The Pixel 2

So we know that Google is working on a new Pixel handset in the form of the Pixel 2, but when exactly the phone will be launched remains to be seen. However it seems that we could be getting closer because according to reports, Google has recently slashed the prices of its Pixel handsets.

For example the 32GB Pixel is now priced at $524 which is cheaper by $125 from its original retail price. The Pixel XL on the other hand is now priced at $569 for the 32GB model which is a discount of $200, and it looks like for every Pixel order you make, Google will toss in a free Daydream View headset.

These are pretty good deals and if you’re the type that isn’t particularly fussed about having the latest or greatest smartphone, then getting a couple of hundred bucks off and also getting a free VR headset sounds like a good deal. We’re not sure how long this deal will last for, but presumably Google is trying to clear remaining stock before they start bringing in the new phones.

Like we said there is still no date on when the Pixel 2 handsets will be launched, but the recent price slash and also the leaked photos all seems to suggest that we won’t have to wait too long.
