Google today announced that customers will soon be able to purchase three new third-party speakers that have its Google Assistant baked in. This follows an earlier announcement from the company when it confirmed that an SDK was being released so that third-party device manufacturers could make their own smart speakers powered by Google’s artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant.
Anker’s Zolo Mojo is one of those speakers. It’s not the first smart speaker that Anker has ever made, the company has already launched an Echo Dot rival of its own called the Eufy Genie.
Anker says that the Mojo is an entry-level smart speaker that costs $70. It has a 5 watt speaker with two microphones and has support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Google Cast Audio. Anker will release it in October.
There aren’t a lot of details available right now about Panasonic’s speaker. It’s called the Panasonic GA10 and what’s known so far is that it has Google Assistant.
The last third-party speaker announced today is called the Mobvoi TicHome Mini and we’ve already covered that particular speaker in detail earlier today.
Google has confirmed that most of these new speakers will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, and France in the near future. Pricing and availability is obviously going to vary by market.
