However while Bixby was launched with the Galaxy S8 and S8+, it was not a complete launch as one key feature was missing: Bixby Voice, which was the voice activated portion of the feature. So far the feature has been enabled in South Korea and the US, and now thanks to a recent tweet by Samsung (via Tech Radar), it seems that the global rollout of Bixby Voice is set for the 22nd of August.

Actually prior to this teaser, Samsung did let it slip that a global rollout could be soon in an update to one of their apps, where the changelog seemed to mention that a global rollout is coming soon. Also what’s interesting is the fact that Bixby Voice’s global rollout is taking place a day before the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be launched.
We would have assumed Samsung would have done both at the same time, but perhaps they wanted the feature enabled for everyone else first, but either way we guess we can’t really complain.
