Electronic Arts recently confirmed that it was going to make two very popular games available for free to EA Access and Origin Access subscribers. The titles that will be available for free to subscribers of both services are Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. After following through on its promise for Titanfall 2 last month, EA has now added Battlefield 1 to the Vault for EA and Origin Access.
Battlefield 1 was very well received when it was launched last year in October. It remains one of the best-selling games ever. EA’s latest count revealed that the game has more than 21 million players across the globe. Now that it’s available for free, it will only drive up the numbers.
EA added Titanfall 2 to the Vault last month. Since then, any and all EA and Origin Access subscribers on Xbox One and PC respectively can download and play Titanfall 2 for free as long as they’re subscribed to the service.
Additional incentives offered to subscribers include a 10 percent discount on digital EA purchases, access to pre-release trials of EA releases, and more. Subscriptions cost $5 per month or $30 per year.
Battlefield 1 has received similar treatment today. Xbox One and PC games who subscribe to EA Access and Origin Access can play Battlefield 1 for free starting today. They just need to head over to the Vault where they’ll find this game as well as several others that are also available for free.
