However if you’ve been dying to upgrade your existing phone, you might be pleased to learn that Apple might not delay the iPhone 8 at all, or that the rumors could be false. This is according to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook who seemed to hint at that. During the company’s recent earnings call, Cook offered up a strong forecast for the next quarter which spans from the 1st of July until the end of September.
While Cook does not explicitly mention the iPhone, it is assumed that a strong quarter will most likely be due to iPhone sales, which is one of the top money makers for Apple. If the iPhone 8 were to be delayed, we’re sure that Cook might have offered up a more conservative forecast. The company is projecting that they will make anywhere between $49 billion to $52 billion, which is higher than the $45.4 billion that they made in the previous quarter.
Of course it is entirely possible that maybe the iPhone 8 could still be delayed and that the revenue projections is based on sales of the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, but we suppose that remains to be seen.
