The company has recently announced new student pricing for its Music Unlimited service. The service is priced at $10 a month normally for non-Prime subscribers, but for students Amazon will be slashing the price by half making it $5 a month. To sweeten the deal, it seems those who are eligible to be Prime Student members will get the option to enroll for 6 months at $6 in total, meaning that it will be essentially $1 a month.
As it stands, Apple also offers students a discount on Apple Music subscription at half the normal subscription price, so Amazon’s deal isn’t too different save for the Prime Student eligibility which does help to make the deal more tempting. Students subscribing to Music Unlimited can expect the same features as everyone else, so it’s not as if Amazon will be hobbling the service in any way.
For students who are interested, just head on over to Amazon’s website for more information.
