Nintendo is going to conduct an entirely separate Nintendo Direct presentation for Splatoon 2, the upcoming shooter game that’s exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. The presentation has been scheduled for this week. It will be streamed live on the company’s YouTube channel so no matter where you are in the world, you will be able to tune in and find out everything that the company has to say about this title.
The reason why Nintendo is conducting this Direct presentation just for this game is to provide fans with a “re-FRESH-er on some of the new features, weapons, and styles” that are going to be included in Splatoon 2.
The game itself, Splatoon 2, is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch on July 21st. It has support for the Pro Controller, Joy-Con controllers, and works in both handheld and TV modes of the console.
Splatoon 2 has a multiplayer and a singleplayer mode. Players can connected up to ten Switch consoles for local tournament play. This should allow for some fun times with Splatoon 2 as long as everybody around you has their very own Nintendo Switch console.
The Splatoon 2-focused Nintendo Direct presentation will be streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel from 7AM PT, July 6th.
