There have been talks that Apple’s much talked about and highly-anticipated iPhone 8 could be delayed. This is apparently due to the complexity involved in the production of certain components, plus we’ve also recently heard that one of Apple’s PCB suppliers has pulled out, forcing Apple to invest in its own equipment.

However according to an investor’s note by JP Morgan analyst Rod Hall as seen by AppleInsider, it seems that Hall is pretty optimistic that the iPhone 8 will still be shipped in September. We should point out the fact that Apple has yet to make any kind of official announcement, but based on previous releases, September is a pretty safe bet unless Apple decides to change things up.

Now despite Hall’s optimistic prediction, he does caution that while the iPhone 8 could ship in September, supply of the phone will be tightly constrained due to various production issues. This seems to be in line with earlier rumors that suggest that the iPhone 8 won’t be delayed, but rather it will be in limited supply at the start and could be that way until 2018.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re someone who must have the latest gadget on launch day, then we guess you should probably be ready to hit that order button once orders have gone live.
