As the display of phones get bigger, one of the ways that manufacturers have been trying to keep the overall footprint more manageable is by reducing the size of the bezels. Quite a few companies have launch phones with near bezel-less displays, and one of the rumors of this year’s iPhone 8 is that Apple is expected to follow suit.

In fact recent renders that were leaked seem to “confirm” it, and now thanks to a recent image posted onto Slashleaks (via 9to5Mac), it shows off the alleged packaging of the iPhone 8 and as you can see in the photo above, it shows a diagram for the phone which looks like what we’ve been seeing so far in other leaks.

Of course this doesn’t necessarily mean that the leaks so far have been accurate or real, but if anything we guess so far it has been pretty consistent. The diagram also suggests that the phone will have a near bezel-less display, and that the home button will not be included. This is another rumor that we’ve been hearing about but whether or not this means that we’ll be seeing an embedded Touch ID under the display or Touch ID on the back of the phone remains to be seen.

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but as we get closer to the iPhone 8’s official announcement (which is expected to take place in September), we expect that there will be more leaks and information, so do check back with us in the coming weeks for more updates.
