It hasn’t been a long time since HTC released its new flagship smartphone, the HTC U11. When this handset was first launched, the only variant that the company was offering featured 64GB of storage. That’s no longer the case. HTC has now started selling another varaint of the HTC U11 which features 128GB of onboard storage.
The HTC U11 features a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also has IP67 certification and Gorilla Glass 5 for enhanced durability.
HTC’s new flagship has a 12 megapixel UltraPixel 3 rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 4K video recording support. It also features a 16 megapixel front camera with full HD video capture and voice selfie functionality.
It’s a unique handset courtesy of a new feature that HTC is calling Edge Sense. The device actually has a touch sensitive frame so users can gently squeeze the phone to interact with it. They can use this method of interaction to launch apps, send text messages, and more. Users can customize the gesture so that it completely does their bidding.
The 128GB storage version of this flagship from HTC is now available for purchase from the company’s online store in the United States. HTC is selling the unlocked and off-contract version for $729. HTC U11 is also the first smartphone from HTC to be integrated with Amazon’s Alexa assistant.
