Samsung Gear S3 Frontier TUMI Special Edition Announced

The problem with our gadgets is that while some of them are perfectly functional, looks wise there are times when they do look out of place at certain events or when paired with certain clothes, which is important for those who are particularly concerned about fashion. This is why companies like Apple have tried to make its Apple Watch more of a fashion accessory.

However if you’re not a fan of Apple, not to worry as Samsung has recently announced a collaboration with TUMI in which the Gear S3 Frontier TUMI Special Edition smartwatch has been announced. As you can see in the photo above, this version of the Gear S3 certainly looks different than the “normal” version of the smartwatch.

On the surface it looks like a regular watch which is actually great if you’re trying to make it look inconspicuous. It will feature an Italian canvas band designed by TUMI, and a stainless steel buckle, as well as a custom TUMI watchface, which you can see in the image above. Other than the brand new look of the smartwatch, the Gear S3 Frontier TUMI Special Edition will function the same as the other Gear S3 Frontier models.

However it is more expensive than the regular Gear S3 Frontier and will cost $450, and note that this model also doesn’t come with LTE so if cellular connectivity is a must, then this probably isn’t the watch for you. The watch should be available online via Samsung’s website or Best Buy starting from today, or you can walk into a store and check it out for yourself in person starting from the 6th of August.
