It was reported yesterday that Samsung might release the Galaxy Note 8 by the end of next month. There’s a conflicting report out today which claims that Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone is not going to be released before September 2017. That being said, this has always been presumed, given that Samsung has traditionally launched new Galaxy Note handsets at the IFA trade show in Berlin.
It has been rumored for the past few weeks that perhaps this year Samsung may decide to hold a separate event for the Galaxy Note 8. The separate event is said to take place in New York City next month.
None of this has been officially confirmed by Samsung at this point in time. Following the Galaxy Note 7 debacle last year, the company only confirmed that it’s going to release another flagship and that the Galaxy Note lineup is not going to be discontinued.
Today’s report suggests that even if Samsung does announce the device next month, interested customers may have to wait for a few weeks before they can get their hands on the new device.
If that really is the case, the Galaxy Note 8 won’t be out in the market until September at the very least, so all those claims about the Galaxy Note 8 making it to the market earlier than expected would turn out to be false.
