According to the report, it seems that one potential feature of the X-T2S is that it will come with in-body image stabilization. What this means is that regardless of whatever lens you pop onto it, there will be some form of image stabilization offered. At the moment not ever XF lens by Fujifilm comes with stabilization, so no doubt if this feature is true, it will prove to be a boon to users.
Now for a bit of disclaimer, it is unclear as to if or when the X-T2S will be launched. Fuji Rumors notes that in the past, there were rumors about an X-Pro1s with even a working prototype, but the company later cancelled it in favor of launching the X-Pro2. For all we know this could repeat itself with the X-T2S.
This means that you should probably take this with a huge grain of salt for now, but for Fujifilm fans out there, how does the idea of a camera with in-body image stabilization sound to you?
