It seems that quite a few players who took part in the recent open beta of the game weren’t too happy with the PvE direction of Destiny 2. Many of the complaints were about how gamers felt that in PvE, they felt rather underpowered, which is clearly not a fun experience, but the good news is that Bungie has heard gamers loud and clear and will be working towards fixing that.
In a post on Bungie’s website, the developers were quick to point out that the beta version that gamers were playing was an old one, and that the team has already made some pretty big changes that players will see upon the release of the full game. “The PVE game tuning has changed pretty significantly since the Beta build was deployed. The nature of a Beta of this scale requires that it’s based off a build of the game that is now months old. So, in many cases, your feedback is helping us validate changes that were previously made based on internal feedback and playtesting.”
We’re sure that those who pre-purchased the game might be a bit nervous after playing through the beta, and for those who didn’t pre-purchase the game, they might be feeling that they made a good choice, but hopefully Bungie has indeed addressed many of the player concerns and that the final game will be much better.
