Two of EA’s most popular games will be available for free for those who subscribe to its EA Access and Origin Access services. The subscription-based services provide subscribers with a vault of games that they can access. All games contained in the vault are playable for free for as long as the subscriber continues to pay for the service. EA has now said that both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will be available for free to EA Access and Origin Access subscribers.
EA confirmed this in a detailed post on its official blog. It has confirmed that Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will be added to the EA Access and Origin Access Vault in the near future.
It’s a good move by the publisher seeing as how both titles were released less than 12 months ago and they also happen to be two of the most popular titles for Xbox One and PC at this point in time.
Origin Access, the subscription service for PC gamers, is also going to add Sims 4 Digital Deluxe Edition, Oxenfree, and Rebel Galaxy to the Vault in the coming months. These titles won’t be available to EA Access subscribers.
Subscribers of both services can access all of the expansions for Star Wars: Battlefront starting today. As far as Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2’s arrival to the vault is concerned, EA has promised that they will be added to EA Access and Origin Access by September 2017.
