Note that these are floppy disks which means that you’ll be extremely hardpressed to find a computer these days that can run it, but then again chances are if you were to bid on it, you would probably want to keep it instead of playing it (there are probably some Doom 2 emulators online anyway).
I’ve decided to put up a set of DOOM 2 floppies (3.5″) on eBay! Will sign if you like (if you win). https://t.co/sNW6xR7Upo #games

According to Romero, “These are the originally shipped DOOM 2 floppies (3.5″) for PC and compatibles. The version is 1.7 (the first DOOM 2 version). NO BOX included – these are only the 3.5″ disks. I will sign these disks if you like.” The auction is set to end in the next 2 hours or so and at this time of posting, the bid for these disks is standing at $3,100.
We expect that if these were the original Doom floppy disks that they would fetch a much higher price, but Doom 2 is just as much a classic. If you’d like to get your hands on them, head on over to eBay and try your luck on bidding on them.
