There have already been countless rumors about the OnePlus 5 and we’re bound to hear more until the company officially unveils its new flagship smartphone. Much has been said and written about the expected specifications of this device and if a new report is to be believed, the OnePlus 5 may be shipped with as much as 8GB of RAM, which seems to be a bonkers proposition for a smartphone.
OnePlus confirmed yesterday that it’s going to officially unveiling the OnePlus 5 on June 20th. Local events in China and India, two of the company’s biggest markets, will follow on June 21st and June 22nd.
Amazon India is going to be the exclusive online retail partner for the OnePlus 5 in the country. It has been revealed via Amazon India that the OnePlus 5 is going to go on sale in India on the very same day that it’s announced, June 22nd.
Digging through the OnePlus 5 landing page on Amazon India’s website reveals some interesting information about the handset’s specs. It will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that has already been confirmed by the company coupled with 8GB of RAM.
If other reports are believed, OnePlus is also going to offer a slightly cheaper variant of the OnePlus 5 which is only going to include 4GB of RAM.
Even though it has revealed some information about the handset, OnePlus is yet to confirm these details, which it will undoubtedly do only on June 20th.
