As per the rumor, it seems that the LG G6+ isn’t that much different compared to the original LG G6. For those who are unfamiliar with the rumor, it was basically suggested that storage size would be one of the main differentiating factors of the LG G6+, and it is true as the handset will now come with 128GB of storage on board.
It will also feature what LG is boasting as “premium” sound which comes in the form of a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and a pair of B&O Play earphones. Apart from these new features, the LG G6+ is essentially at the end of the day the same LG G6 phone that was launched earlier this year. In fact it will still pack the same Snapdragon 821 chipset, which we have a feeling many were hoping to see upgraded to a Snapdragon 835.
However if a Snapdragon 835 handset from LG is what you’re after, not to worry because we have also heard that the LG V30 could be launched ahead of schedule, and presumably that phone will be packing Qualcomm’s latest hardware, so you could wait for that instead.
