Bandai Namco has frequently highlighted Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown on the PlayStation VR in a mode that’s completely separate from the campaign. There has been a lot of excitement to see how the latest addition in this long-running franchise presents its campaign mode. The publisher is finally providing us a glimpse at the Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown campaign today. It has released the first campaign gameplay footage from this game much to the delight of fans everywhere.
The Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown gameplay footage demonstrates the third mission in the campaign titled Two Pronged Strategy.
The game itself is set in the fictional world of Strangereal where a war has broken out between Osea and Erusea. Osea has been hurt badly after an attack by Erusea which has taken control of the Space Elevator.
Fortunately for Osea, it still has two aircraft carriers left. The first carrier is tasked with attacking Farbanti, the capital of Erusea while the other carrier is to launch missions in order to achieve air superiority over Chopinburg so that fresh squadrons can perform their missions with relative ease.
The gameplay footage suggests that it’s going to be a lot of fun tearing through the skies in this fictional world. I, for one, can’t wait for this game to arrive. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be released next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This title was initially a PS4 exclusive but it will now be launched on the aforementioned platforms as well.
