It has been a while since Netflix teased the Marvel’s Defenders original series that it has been working on. Netflix and Marvel have already created many original series based on the latter’s comic universe. The streaming service today released the first proper trailer for The Defenders in which we see many of the heroes that have their own separate shows on Netflix fight the bad guys under one roof.
Members of The Defenders team include Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil. As previously mentioned, all four heroes have their separate shows on Netflix. The trailer makes it seem that they will spend the better part of this series trying to figure each other out.
Netflix has released The Defenders trailer today after it teased the return of a much-loved character from Daredevil’s favorite season. It has confirmed that Elektra is going to be returning to the series.
The Defenders will be up against an underground team of assassin’s called The Hand. You can see in the trailer that the team works well together when they’re fighting with a lot of bad guys in a hallway.
In true Netflix fashion, all episodes of The Defenders will be released on Netflix come August 18th.
