Sonic The Hedgehog Related Announcement Teased For Tomorrow

When it comes to video game characters, there are few that have the same recognition as Nintendo’s Mario, although we reckon that Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog comes pretty close. Now if you’re a fan of the Sonic franchise, it seems that we could be treated to some Sonic related news tomorrow.

This is thanks to a recent tweet by the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account in which an image was posted along with the caption that reads, “Tomorrow”. We’re not sure what the announcement will be about, but some have speculated that this could be related to Sonic Forces which is an upcoming Sonic game.

The game is currently slated for a release in 2017, but no specific dates have been mentioned. It will also be released for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch which pretty much covers every modern day console and platform out there. Maybe tomorrow we will get additional details like gameplay footage, a trailer, or even a release date.

Sega has recently announced that they plan to revive dormant IPs and focus on big hits, and we’re guessing that Sonic Forces could be one of them. Either way check back with us tomorrow if you’d like the official details.
