The Nintendo Switch is still a relatively new console which means that there aren’t as many games available for it compared to more established consoles like the PS4 or Xbox One. This also means that some gamers can be a bit hesitant in adopting the console especially when they don’t know what kind of games they can expect.
Now the good news for fans of Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise is that the company has officially announced that Monster Hunter XX will be making its way to the Switch. Details are a bit scarce but Capcom is expected to share additional details come 27th of May at the Monster Hunter Championship event.
For those unfamiliar, Monster Hunter XX isn’t a new game, but rather it is a game that was originally developed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. It is an expanded version of Monster Hunter Generations, although we have to wonder if we might get a localized version since the announcement was made via Capcom’s Japanese website.
However the upside is that even if it is not, the Nintendo Switch is region free which means that you can purchase the game regardless if you’re in Japan or not, although whether or not you can understand the game is a different story.
