Last year the folks at Capcom took the wraps off their latest mashup fighting game in the form of Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite. This wouldn’t be the first time that we’ve seen such crossovers, and for the most part we had an idea of what characters we could expect based on the trailers.
Clearly that was not the extent of the character roster, but a recent post on NeoGAF by Ryce (via Gematsu) might have revealed the roster in its entirety. From Capcom’s side, we can expect characters such as Arthur, Chris, Chun-Li, Dante, Firebrand, Jedah, Monster Hunter, Morrigan, Nemesis, Ryu, Spencer, Strider Hiryu, X, and one more unknown character that is speculated to be Frank West
On Marvel’s side of the list, we have characters such as Ant-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Gamora, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Nova, Rocket / Groot, Spider-Man, Thanos, Thor, and Ultron. There will also be 6 additional characters planned as part of the first season’s DLC, which includes Sigma and Venom.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but note that Ryce was the same user who posted about Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite’s existence ahead of the announcement, so perhaps there is truth to his claims, but what do you guys make of the alleged roster so far?
