If you’re in the market for a new laptop, it seems that Lenovo will have you covered as the company has recently announced a bunch of laptops that are aimed at college students or users on a budget, as well as gamers who like to be able to play some games while on the go, or maybe for users who are also seeking a hybrid-like device.
Starting with the Lenovo IdeaPad series, the company has announced the IdeaPad 320, the 320S, and the 720S. Regardless of the model, all the IdeaPad laptops can be configured up to a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, so after that it really boils down to preference like display size, RAM, GPU, and so on. The IdeaPad 320 comes in either a 15-inch or 17-inch display and will support up to 16GB of RAM.
The IdeaPad 320S will be offered in 14-inch and 15-inch options with an NVIDIA GeForce GT940MX GPU for the 15-inch model, and up to 8GB of RAM. As for the IdeaPad 720S, it will only come in a 14-inch display option with an NVIDIA GeForce GT940MX as its GPU of choice, and it can also be configured to sport up to 16GB of RAM.
For those who want to be able to game on the go, there is also the Lenovo Legion Y920 laptop. It will be powered by a 7th gen Intel Core i7-7820HK processor, 16GB of RAM, sports a 17.3-inch display, and will have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB of VRAM as its GPU. It even features a mechanical keyboard with full RGB backlighting.
Last but not least, those who want a hybrid type of laptop can look forward to the Lenovo Flex 5. The laptop is offered in 14-inch and 15-inch options, with users being able to configure it with up to 16GB of RAM, and a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, and also an NVIDIA GeForce GTX970MX as a GPU with 2GB of VRAM.
