However it seems that not all analysts believe that will be the case. According to Business Insider, they quote UBS analyst Steven Milunovich who has offered his opinion in which he thinks that the iPhone 8 will start $870, which is admittedly slightly more affordable. This is also the model with 128GB of storage as Milunovich believes that Apple will not offer a 32GB variant for the iPhone 8.
He then suggests that the model with 256GB of storage could be priced at $1,070 which is considerably more expensive. At this time there is no word on when the iPhone 8 will be launched. There were talks about a possible delay due to shortage on components/complexities in manufacturing, but recently the reports are claiming that the iPhone 8 could be on track for a September launch.
Take it all with a grain of salt for now, especially since no one seems to be able to settle on a firm price, but here’s hoping that the iPhone 8 would be too costly, even by Apple’s standards.
