We’ve seen them attempt a hi-tech grocery story in the form of Amazon Go, but now it seems that they’re reverting to something a bit more traditional in the form of AmazonFresh Pickup. This is a grocery store in Seattle that offers customers the ability to drive-through and pick up what they need.
This means that all you have to do is place your order online, drive to the location and it’ll be ready for pickup. For shoppers who are short on time or who hate finding parking, this will no doubt come in handy. The stores will carry pretty much what you might expect from a grocery store, although Engadget has noted that it does cost more presumably because you would be paying for the convenience.
It will be free to use for Amazon Prime members and it does not appear that there is a minimum order. For more details just head on over to Amazon’s website.
