Xbox fans have been anxious to find out more information about Project Scorpio which was announced by Microsoft last year. This is going to be the most powerful console that Microsoft has ever built but so far the company hasn’t said much about its hardware specifications let alone show what it’s going to look like. We heard last week that the Project Scorpio hardware reveal might take place via a major online publication in a few days and that has now been confirmed.
Last week’s reported claimed that Microsoft had worked with a major gaming news outlet to reveal some information about Project Scorpio. Folks from the outlet reportedly visited Microsoft and got to know more about Project Scorpio specs as it prepares to provide an “exclusive blowout of coverage.”
Precisely what’s going to be revealed in this exclusive report remains to be seen, but at least the folks at Digital Foundry have confirmed today that they will have an exclusive “Xbox Scorpio” reveal on Thursday, April 6th at 6am Pacific.
Xbox fans will certainly be waiting to find out more about this console. It’s unlikely that Microsoft will actually show off the new console later this week. It may only have talked about the hardware specifications. We can expect to see the Project Scorpio Xbox in action at E3 2017 which takes place in June this year.
To clear up the speculation: @digitalfoundry will have an exclusive Xbox Scorpio reveal on @eurogamer this Thursday at 2pm UK / 6am Pacific. pic.twitter.com/S6xxT2YCcn
