Marvel has featured many of its most popular characters from its superhero universe in blockbuster movies and Thor happens to be one of them. He’s a part of the lucrative Avengers franchise and has also featured in two standalone movies with a third on the way. Marvel has now released a Thor: Ragnarok teaser trailer which gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming movie.
Taika Waititi is in the director’s chair for Thor: Ragnarok. It’s the third standalone movie that features the Norse god Thor and certainly has a lot of questions to answer that were raised in previous movies.
Following the accidental release of the goddess of death Hela, Thor is banished to the planet of Sakaar without his trusty hammer. There, he has to fight with an intergalactic gladiator with only the Hulk to keep him company.
If you didn’t get enough of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange in the first standalone movie for that character you’ll like the fact that Doctor Strange will also be making an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. Appearances will also be made by Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins and Tim Hiddleston as Loki.
Thor: Ragnarok is due to hit the big screen on November 3rd this year.
