Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen several leaks and reports concerning the new Moto X handset that’s believed to be in the pipeline. It’s being referred to as the Moto X (2017) currently though it’s not known for sure whether that’s going to be the official name of this handset if and when it comes out. A new report brings us some specifications and a render of this handset.

The report suggests that the Moto X (2017) bearing model number XT-180x is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and up to 4GB of RAM with up to 64GB of storage. The Moto X (2017) is expected to feature a dual camera system on the back with at least one of the cameras being a 13 megapixel unit.

It’s also said that another Motorola handset is in th pipeline which features similar specs but has a single 12 megapixel camera on the back. One can speculate that perhaps this will be a lower priced version of the Moto X (2017).

The render does show that there’s a dual camera system on the back of this device which is claimed to be the new Moto X.

However, it’s not exactly difficult to fabricate images like this so unless there’s more information to go on or something concrete is leaked, I’d suggest taking all of this information with a grain of salt for now.

Lenovo-owned Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything right now about the new Moto X.
