There are a handful of games that many expect to see released with every Nintendo console, which is why when Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Switch was announced, it hardly came as a surprise, except that it will be known as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where it will come with new characters and all the DLCs that have been released to date.
That being said for those who want to check out more aspects of the game, you might be interested to learn that a new trailer for the game has been released. Dubbed “Souped up”, it basically shows how the game has been upgraded from its predecessor, at least in terms of features since graphics wise both games look pretty much the same.
Mario Kart 8 is expected to be released on the Switch come 28th of April. Considering that the Wii U version of the game did pretty well after selling 8.8 million units to date, we can only imagine that the Switch version will do just as well, if not better when you take into consideration that the Switch has been very well received.
In fact we wouldn’t be surprised if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were to boost sales of the Switch, which is what Mario Kart 8 did for the Wii U upon its release.
