HP today announced that it has refreshed its entire Pavilion x360 series and the new notebooks come with new Intel processors as well as support for pen input. An optional IR camera is being offered as well which will enable users to take advantage of the Windows Hello feature of Windows 10.
HP Pavilion x360 series is now available in 11.6, 14, and 15.6 inch sizes. Some of you may have noticed that HP has decided to discontinue the 13.3 inch model.
It’s going to charge $399 for the base model of the 11.6 inch version which is powered by an Intel Pentium N4200 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 500GB 5400 rpm SATA had drive.
Those who want more power will be better off with the larger Pavilion x360 models. The 14 inch and 15.6 inch models come with options for Core i3, Core i5, and even Core i7 processors with high-resolution displays and support for SSDs. There’s even a USB Type-C port in these models.
The normal Pavilion series has been updated as well. The specifications are similar to the x360 series but the Pavilion also gets options for AMD processors in its 14, 15, and 17 inch flavors.
Prices for the new notebooks start at $600 and go up quite a bit depending on the configuration that the customer opts for. HP is going to start shipping these new notebooks within a few weeks.
