If you tend to travel a lot or just like to keep an eye or airline prices should you decide to go somewhere on a whim, Google Home is now going to make life easier for you. The company’s smart speaker, which is powered by the AI-backed Google Assistant, is now capable of monitoring airline prices. Google Home can also help plan trips and check flight statuses.
You can give Google Home a relevant voice command if you need it to track a flight status for you, however, for this feature to work you will need to have Personal Results turned on.
It can also find information about flights and their prices and can even suggest what popular activities that you should look into doing when you reach your destination.
For example, to get information about their current flights, Google Home users can give voice commands like “Ok Google, is my flight on time?” They can even add an airline name in there to get the correct answer.
For the price tracking feature, commands like “Ok Google, How much are flights to New York City in 3 weeks?” will work. Flight search can also be filtered by airline, dates, and by the number of stops.
To get suggestions on what to do when you get there, just ask “Ok Google, what are the things to do in Paris?” Makes life so much easier, doesn’t it?
