According to a report from Android Authority, it appears that Google has removed the section from the Play Store without providing any particular reason for doing so. We should point out that apps that are discounted or made free temporarily are still available and is at the discretion of the developer/publisher, but finding these apps now will be a bit harder.
It is possible that the removal is temporary, or maybe Google was testing the feature before and decided that maybe it wasn’t worth keeping there. Either way we’ll just have to wait and see, but if you’re looking for paid apps that have gone free, we guess you’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way, which is to search on Google and look for websites that have compiled the data. In any case are any Android users out there going to miss this feature?
