In a report released by Yuanta Securities Korea, analysts at the company believe that the Galaxy S8+ could account for 53.9% of total Galaxy S8 sales, while the Galaxy S8 will take up the rest. It isn’t exactly by a huge margin, but if accurate it does go to show that consumers would definitely prefer having a larger screen.
It has also been suggested that the release of the DeX accessory (that allows users to connect the Galaxy S8 to a display and turn it into a computer) could also be attributed to the potentially higher sales of the Galaxy S8+. According to the analysts, they have noticed that the trend in preferring larger displays manifested itself in earlier models, like the Edge version of the Galaxy S6 and S7 accounting for 51.3% and 51.9% respectively.
That being said we guess this information isn’t really that surprising, especially with the minimal bezels which does help make the phone a bit smaller while maintaining a larger display, but what do you guys think? Are you more of a Galaxy S8 user or a Galaxy S8+?
