djay Pro For Windows 10 Released Officially

Algoriddim’s popular djay Pro app has long been available for iOS and Mac OS but now it’s finally available for Windows 10 as well. The djay Pro for Windows app has finally been released for everyone a couple of months after it was initially released in beta. The app brings a whole host of features and is optimized for touch input so it’s going to be very easy to use on devices like the Microsoft Surface Studio.

The djay Pro app provides the users with a full digital dj interface which includes up to four virtual decks, sound effects, waveform views, filters, and even a crossfader. Songs stored locally on the computer can be used or can even be pulled from Spotify’s catalog if you subscribe to the music streaming service.

While the apps are more or less the same in functionality across different platforms, one major feature is missing from the Windows 10 version. The video mixing feature that lets users blend visuals with their music is missing from its release.

Algoriddim, the developer, points out that the Windows 10 app hasn’t been built from the ground up for Microsoft’s platform. It has actually used the Windows Bridge feature to translate the djay Pro for iOS app into the one for Windows 10.

The djay Pro app for Windows 10 is live now and available for download from the Windows Store. It costs $49.99. Free trials are being offered.
