AT&T Unlimited Plus Plan Subscribers Get Free HBO

It has only been a few months since AT&T launched its standalone unlimited data plans and today it has announced that the subscribers of one of these plans will receive a very nice perk. The carrier today confirmed that subscribers on its Unlimited Plus plan will get free access to HBO. HBO normally costs $15 on standalone online TV streaming services like Sling TV so it’s a very nice perk that HBO is doling out to Unlimited Plus plan subscribers.

It’s not like the Unlimited Plus plan is cheap. It costs $90 per month for a single line. However, many subscribers will now be delighted to know that their plan also gives them free access to the premium cable network HBO.

This will allow them to watch all of HBO’s famous shows like Veep, Game of Thrones, Westworld, and more. They will also be able to watch movies on HBO as they will have access to the linear stream.

Subscribers can access it using the HBO Go app or through AT&T’s DirecTV Now apps for mobile devices. The subscribers that are already paying for DirecTV Now, DirecTV satellite service or AT&T U-verse will also receive free access to HBO automatically.

AT&T Unlimited Plus plan subscribers can stream video at HD quality so they will certainly enjoy watching all of HBO’s content for free in high definition.
