This is a pretty major update because Apple has basically revamped the entire design of the Apple Music app for Android, ultimately bringing it in line with what Apple Music looks like on iOS devices. It is admittedly a bit slow especially since Apple Music’s redesign was announced at WWDC last year, but better late than never, right?
The updated Apple Music will bring more or less the same features as the iOS version, where users can read lyrics to songs as they listen to music, improved navigation within the music library where you can find your downloaded songs much easier. There will be a new “For You” section, a browse section, and radio where users can tune into Beats 1 or listen to stations based on their preferences.
The update is already available via Google Play so if you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you probably should if you want to take advantage of all these new features.
