Amazon launched its first Echo device over a year ago and since then they have proven to be quite popular. The company has expanded the Echo lineup by adding multiple devices that further its hardware agenda. Just yesterday, Amazon announced a new product in this lineup called the Echo Look. According to a new report, Amazon might launch another Echo product next month and that it may even have a built-in display.
The Echo Look is meant to be your personal stylist. It combines machine learning with advise from fashion specialists to give you tips on what look you should wear for the day. It can save your look book and even provide recommendations on clothes to buy.
Since it’s an Echo product, the Echo Look has Alexa built-in, and Alexa on this device can do everything that it can on any other Echo device, so it can stream music, read news, call an Uber, and more.
CNET reports that Amazon is going to launch a new Echo product next month that’s going to feature a built-in screen. However, the possibility exists that Amazon might change the timing on this launch.
Having an integrated display will make the new Echo device more useful particularly in areas like online shopping and video chats. No technical specifications have been shared as yet and Amazon hasn’t confirmed anything about such an Echo device.
So we just have to wait for a few weeks until we find out for sure if this Echo device really is in the pipeline.
